Hi there! I'm Michael, a 23-year-old Student Software Developer from Peterborough. I graduated from Nottingham Trent University last summer. with a degree in Business Management and Accounting & Finance and almost 2 years previous experience working in commercial sales in the construction industry. however, I knew that after graduating neither accounting nor sales were really what I wanted to peruse as a career.
This then led me to find a new challenge and anyone who's first started learning coding will know I really have found one. My older brother is a software developer and I always just used to look at his screen and think how on earth does someone understand that and that. is what inspired me to give learning to code a go. I have now followed in his footsteps by completing a 16-week intensive coding bootcamp at Makers Academy and I am now looking for my first role as a developer.
In my spare time I enjoy golfing, running and skiing, I am currently training for the Manchester Marathon in April and developing a webapp using my Strava data to help me with this.
